Nicholas Manting Brewer is a documentary filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, CA by way of Augusta, GA. His work has screened at festivals, including Sundance, South By Southwest and Sarasota Film Festival.
In 2018, he co-founded Standard Deviation Productions. The company’s first film, Lumpkin, GA, aired on the PBS show Reel South in May 2019. Nicholas is an alumnus of University of California’s School of Cinematic Arts (MFA) and New College of Florida (BA).
Emily Grandcolas is a documentary filmmaker and photographer who holds a B.A. in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California. Her work focuses on stories from the global community that reveal hidden truths about ourselves and our societies.
Her work has been on display on NPR's Latino USA, PBS, the Gayle and Ed Roski Master of Fine Arts Gallery, the USC Fisher Museum of Art and the site Girls Will Be Girls.
Michael Gil is a writer, director and editor based in Los Angeles, California. It is his goal to create engaging media that can catalyze positive change and inspire empathy.
Michael earned his B.A. from Harvard University, where he studied Philosophy and Cognitive Neuroscience. He earned his M.F.A. in Film Production at the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts.
Feixue Tang is a cinematographer based in LA and Beijing. She received her BFA in The Central Academy of Drama in Beijing China, majoring in dramatic writing and literature in theater studies. She received her MFA degree at University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, majoring in cinematography.
With a strong enthusiasm of visual story telling, Feixue Tang works as a cinematographer in both narrative and documentary fields. Her works have been awards winning and selected and shown in various film festivals.
